So You Want To Start An OnlyFans?

Over the past few years there has been a lot of talk about content sites like OnlyFans, ManyVids and many others. Women, men and couples have been earning extra income by offering a glimpse into their lives in an erotic context, all from the safety of their own homes. Sometimes it’s full-blown spicy stuff, sometimes it’s about showing off your body in some gorgeous lingerie, or attracting viewers as a sexy, latex-clad dominatrix. And maybe you’ve thought about giving it a shot yourself, but you have no idea where to start. So let’s explore some ways you can launch a page without too much fuss.

So how do you get started?

First of all, think about what you would want to do. If you’re not sure you would want to go the hardcore route, think about what you would be comfortable with, and set yourself some boundaries. Let’s say you’re a plus-sized Goddess and you want to show off how sexy and gorgeous you look in some exquisite lingerie. Now you have a framework with which you can work. And don’t worry, once you become comfortable in front of the camera and get into the groove of creating on a regular basis you can always re-evaluate what you’re doing. Do you want to get spicier? Go for it! Do you want to dial it back a little more, or go in a different direction because you see you’re selling more of a certain type of content? Go ahead! You’re running a business, and as such you should constantly look at what sells, and what doesn’t.

Tell the world about your OnlyFans

The second step is setting up your content page. Fortunately this is really simple to do on most platforms, but there is one thing you need to watch out for: Don’t forget to fill out your tax information! The sites report earnings to the IRS, so you don’t want to have them breathing down your necks. Set everything up the right way, and things will be a lot easier in the long run.

When it comes to setting up as well as running and promoting your page, model and photographer Tiffany Nacke has an amazing guide to running an OnlyFans that I wholeheartedly recommend. Tiffany gives amazing tip and guidelines on how to create and maintain an OnlyFans page, where to advertise (and where NOT to advertise!), and the same rules can be applied to other platforms, as well. Her guide is extremely affordable, and she also offers guides on posing, as well as running businesses as a self-employed creative, which as a creator you are. Tiffany also offers one-on-one mentoring sessions, as well as photo sessions when she’s on tour. I’ve worked with Tiffany as a model, you’ll see a few of her photos in my portfolio, and she’s an amazing model and mentor to newcomers in the modeling business. Check out her site

I’m ready to go, how to get content?

This is the exciting part! The easiest way of course is to use your smartphone on a self-timer. This does take a lot of practice, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t get the results you want right away. Stick at it, and get Tiffany’s posing guide if you want for some amazing tips and tricks.
